Tornadus Therian Forme Raids

Hello everyone. Tornadus Therian forme has come around. It's sad to say but it's not good for much :/ It can put out good damage now with the new move Bleakwind Storm but there's still better options such as Rayquaza and Shadow Moltres. For newer players that weren't fortunate enough to get Rayquaza with Dragon Ascent, this could be a good option to have in the mean time.
Bleakwind Storm:
Trainer battles- 60 power, lowers Attack
Gyms and Raids- 140 power
In PvP, it looks slightly better but not making any waves in the meta
Shiny will be available 🌟
Tornadus Therian Forme will be in 5 star raids from:
January 10 Wednesday at 10 AM till January 17 Wednesday at 10 AM local time
Tornadus is a part of the Legendary Forces of Nature trio which consist of Thundurus and Landorus. Each one has an Incarnate and Therian forme.
Region: Unova
Weakness: Electric, Ice, Rock
Resist: Grass, Fighting, Bug, Ground
Perfect IVs: 1837
Boosted Weather: 2296
Raid Hour: January 10 from 6-7 PM local time
Megas to use for Candy and XL candy farm:
Mega Rayquaza, Mega Pidgeot, Mega Charizard Y, Mega Salamence, Mega Aerodactyl, and Mega Pinsir
*Would mostly recommend Mega Rayquaza for massive neutral damage or Mega Aerodactyl for that super effective damage output
***While counters vary depending on the Raid boss' moveset, this a general list of some of the best attackers based on Equivalent Rating. I'll highlight some other Pokemon that don't have as high ER but are just as good in terms of type effectiveness.
***ER may also change depending on your Pokemon's levels and the moveset of the Raid boss. This list isn't going to apply for all specific situations. This a general guide for how effective these counters are in Raid battles compared to others and which ones you might want to consider investing into for your team
***You may find that having multiple of the same Pokemon with different movesets is more effective than having several different Pokemon in a party
To find out more effective teams for yourself checkout Pokebattler (has a more in-depth look at counters against Raid bosses with different movesets) and Gamepress

Alright folks. That's it for now. Be cautious if you're shiny hunting because sometimes the Shiny chance might not be turned on at the start of these Raids. At the time of this writing, it has happened to this Raid boss already. You might be better off waiting the next day everyone. Best of luck and until next time Trainers!
