We're going back in time in Hisui with the debut of Hisuian Typhlosion. Typhlosion here gains the ghost typing making it look pretty badass.  Pokemon Go New Year's 2024 Event


Trainers, buckle up! We got a new costumed Pokemon making their first appearances along with their shiny release, new avatar items, and a party hat galore 🥳

This event will be running from January 1, 2024 Monday at 10 AM till January 3 Wednesday at 8 PM local time.
Making their debut is none other than Jigglypuff wearing a ribbon and it can be shiny and evolve into Wigglytuff! 🤩

#0039 Type: Normal/Fairy 
Jigglypuff possess a vocal range that exceeds 12 octaves, but each individual’s singing skill depends on its own effort.

*Festive fireworks will be decorating the night throughout this event 😲

Event Bonuses:
-1/2 egg hatch distance when eggs are placed into incubators during the event
-1/4 egg hatch distance for the first 3 eggs placed into incubators using the Pokemon Go hatching widget of your phone during the event
Bonuses do not stack. To learn how to get the widget on your phone's home screen refer to the Help Article in game. Is available for iOS and Android

In the Wild:
the following Pokemon will appear more frequently and ALL can be found SHINY 🌟

Darumaka(this is a good option as a fire type attacker in Raids for newer players) and Jigglypuff with a ribbon

Uncommon spawn- Bronzor


These Pokemon more than likely will appear alongside other non-event spawns

Raids:
ALL can be SHINY 🌟 except the Ultra Beasts


The best ones to lookout for Raid attackers are Party Hat Charmander and Gengar. While Party hat Bulbasuar and Squirtle are good, they aren't able to evolve just YET. Other costume Pokemon that haven't been able to evolve in the past can now evolve. They most likely will be able to evolve in the future so don't throw away your Hundos!
