Regigigas Raids

 Regigigas  Raid Guide

Regigigas is here! Running from December 23 at 10 AM local time till 10 AM New Year's Day January 1. It can be SHINY 🌟. Not really useful for raids or PvP, this guy is just to fill your Pokedex(unless he gets a better moveset in the future). I'll be going over the best counters for Regigigas, including the best legendaries, shadows, and non legendary non shadows for newer players.

Regigigas has only one typing, Normal. Its only weakness is Fighting types.

Perfect IVs to look for are 2483 CP

In Boosted Weather it's 3104 CP

*For extra candy XL, try Mega evolving Kangaskan or Lopunny. Lopunny has the added benefit of boosting other Fighting types atack in your raid group if it's equipped on your team since it's dual Normal/Fighting type.

Top 10 Raid Counters Overall

***While counters vary depending on the Raid boss' moveset, this a general list of some of the best attackers based on Equivalent Rating. I'll highlight some other Pokemon that don't have as high ER but are just as good in terms of  type effectiveness.

***ER may also change depending on your Pokemon's levels and the moveset of the Raid boss. This list isn't going to apply for all specific situations. It's a guide for how in general these counters do compared to others and which ones you might want to consider investing into for your team

To find out more effective teams for yourself checkout Pokebattler (has a more indepth look at counters against Raid bosses with different movesets) and Gamepress

#1- Mega Rayquaza with an ER of 60.24 and the moveset of Dragontail and Dragon Ascent(Exclusive). While it isn't a fighting type, Mega Rayquaza is just so opressive with its neutral damage.

#2- Terrakion with an ER of 58.62 with Double Kick and Sacred Sword(Exclusive). One of the best fighting type attackers in the game.

#3-Mega Blaziken with an ER of 56.19 with Counter and Focus Blast. VERY nice to have on teams to help boost other Pokemon's fighting type move damage that are in your group.
